Capabilities-Based Planning

Innové, using available Department of Defense and Air Force instructions, created and implemented the procedures necessary to conduct the Air Force's Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities-based planning process at the Air Force ISR Agency (AFISRA).  We were instrumental in the ISR functional area and functional needs analysis, identifying and documenting both ISR tasks, conditions and standards, and assessing the gaps and shortfalls that exist in ISR.  The Innové-created scoring method ensured consistency among major commands in prioritizing the shortfalls on which the Air Force needs to focus.  Team Innové also provided the AFISRA with a plan for conducting the functional solutions analysis and developed various forms of a roadmap linking capabilities to shortfalls to program initiatives.

In addition to functional area and needs analysis, our engineering services included system performance parameters analysis, acquisition documentation, technical reviews and evaluations, testing, and design reviews.
